I’m sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. It’s all very exciting but it can also be somewhat overwhelming. You’re planning the day that you’ve been anticipating your whole life and yet you only get one shot at it! By the time you get the hang of it, the planning is over! My goal as a wedding photographer is to make this one aspect of the planning process simple. Photography is more than just images, it’s a real part of your day. Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience. When my couples feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, that results in genuine, joyful images! Your wedding day is an experience from beginning to end and your photography is a huge part of that experience...shouldn’t it be fun? and enjoyable? and natural? I think so! My goal is to not only capture memories for my clients, it’s to create an experience that they will never forget.

Welcome!

We have a deep love for New Mexico and the whole Southwest. We pick our restaurants by the salsa and how "real" the enchilada sauce is!

Cameron teaches Biology at the local college! It’s his dream job, and he’s a natural!

We live in Payson, AZ but we love to travel, especially in the Southwest!

I'll take a Root Beer,  Snow Cone, or White Hot Chocolate any day. I'm not a coffee or tea fan.

The Mower kids:
Darrow (the lawyer),
Ione (the warrior princess),
& Molly (the universally adored)

My very favorite flavor of pie is an old fashioned Buttermilk Pie! So simple and SOOO yummy!

I love prickly pear cactus! We have our own method for juicing the cactus fruit and use it anyway we can!

My favorite animal is a Flying Pig, but I do really love the non-flying pigs as well.

I am OBSESSED with the color orange! It's has been my favorite color since I was a little kid!

I LOVE my name and have never met anyone in person who shares the same name. My favorite day of school was the first day to see how people would pronounce it.
In case you're wondering, it's pronounced
mahr-KETT
luh-REE
MOW-er
(Mower rhymes with Power)

I started photography to get photos to paint from in my oil painting class and found I loved photography SO MUCH MORE! And then I discovered photographing people and it was love at first shutter-click!

Cameron and I have known each other since we were 12 and 14 years old, but didn't date until college!

“Marquette was the best money I spent towards my wedding. She is so easy to work with and is so understanding and incrediblly personable!”

Temple Weddings

My first many weddings I photographed were Temple Weddings! I have shot at weddings all over the southwest (but have a particular bias for the Albuquerque, NM Temple where we were married). I used to have a specific Temple Wedding package, but quickly found that most couples needed to alter the package in various ways, so I now offer a "build your own package" method of finding the perfect coverage for your day. If you aren't sure what you want covered yet, we can chat and I can help you figure out what you want to include and which parts may not be as important to you when it comes to the photography.

- Timeline creation assistance to maximize your day without leaving you and your family exhausted at the end (I've seen too many couples burn out by the end of the day!)
- Around 50 images delivered for every hour of shooting
- Online viewing gallery with download and print rights

Every Temple Wedding quote is custom built (more info below). For a WEdding day with a first look, temple exit (with family portraits), Bride and Groom portraits, and a reception. you can expect to pay around $1000.

Extras & Add-Ons

Want to customize the experience further? No problem!
+ Additional Photographer: $100/hour
An additional photographer means I can cover more events of the day at a time, provide more angles (for example during the ceremony we can get more guest reactions as well as the ceremony events), and drastically increase the number of portraits I am able to deliver.
+ Additional Coverage time:
$300/hour booked ahead of time
$400/hour for time extended in the moment on the wedding day
+ Custom Retouching: $25/image
I do light & color adjustments on every image I deliver, as well as some basic acne blending (because sometimes that one wedding zit just insists on making an appearance, we get that).
For extensive editing I charge on a per image basis.
+ Albums and Prints: Prices vary
Prints are available in every client's online gallery. Custom sizes can be ordered through me.
Legacy Albums Available to add on to any session!
For information and pricing on Albums, please click the banner below.

The Process

- Torey Cranford

"To wake up this morning and see this BEAUTIFUL photo of one of my cakes! When I first saw your photo, I could not believe it! This shot is pure talent! I knew how dark that building was, I tried and tried to get a decent photo of the cake set up, but I'm a baker, not a photographer. You made it look like it was in the middle of the most beautiful sunny day! I am so excited to get to work on more events with you!"

Questions

frequently asked

will you hold our date until we can get the retainer in?

As much as I wish I could, it's not fair to other couples or myself if I hold dates without a paid retainer and contract.

Yes! I love doing Bridals/Bride and Groom sessions. Availability may be limited during busy season, but let's talk about it!

Wedding days that will require me to spend a night away from home will require a travel feel to cover lodgings and extra expenses. All weddings at temples outside of Arizona will have a travel fee for sure. Arizona temple travel fees will vary by the day's projected schedule.

Yes!! I offer prints, canvases, and photo books through your online gallery so you can order those at your convenience. I also offer high quality Legacy Albums that can be added on to any wedding or session at any time. I encourage ALL my clients to get prints and/or products ordered. There is power in printed images that you can see daily. When you look at a photo you remember how you felt when it was taken. Having that extra boost and power in your home, to remember the good moments, is invaluable!

Can I book just the bride and groom portraits?

Will there be travel fees?

I see there aren't any prints or albums included in the experiences. Are those an option?

Do we really need that much time?

planning your wedding:

Planning out the timeline can be one of the most stressful parts of the logistics, but it is key! A good timeline will not only keep everyone on the same page and the day rolling smooth, but also maximize the amount and quality of the photography that you get! Likely this is your first time planning something like this and it's hard to know just how much time you will really need for your wedding day, let alone each part of the day!

At booking I send over a custom sample timeline to fit the sunset time on your wedding day. This is not a mandatory timeline, but one that will give you plenty of time for each part of the day with the best light for photos, as well as maximizing the time with your loved ones!

Below is the Timeline Guide that explains why I encourage that much time for each portion of the day. The suggested times are not only for great photos, but to give you the time that you need to not have a rushed and stressful day, while also maximizing party time!
