I’m sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. It’s all very exciting but it can also be somewhat overwhelming. You’re planning the day that you’ve been anticipating your whole life! My goal as a grad and senior photographer is to make this one aspect of the planning process simple. Photography is more than just images, it’s a real part of your celebration! Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience. When my grads feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, that results in genuine, joyful images! Your senior year is an experience from beginning to end and your photography is a huge part of that experience...shouldn’t it be fun? and enjoyable? and natural? I think so! My goal is to not only capture memories for my clients, it’s to create an experience that you will never forget!

That is the number one biggest question I get asked for graduation and senior sessions!
Clothes: Please bring those. ;) I recommend at least one set with your graduation gown and cap, and one set without. Most graduates choose to have two outfits plus their graduation regalia. It makes for great variety!
School organizations or hobbies: An Instrument you play, a football, your soccer cleats, your stack of favorite books, anything that you want to showcase.
Friends: No one knows how to get a laugh out of you like your friends. You don't have to bring a friend, but if you're nervous, bringing a friend along to have around can help you loosen up and have a good time. If you both want senior portraits, ask me about a double session!

"It was such a blast working with marquette! She made it so easy and natural to take pictures! Naturally it would seem almost awkward just smiling constantly at a lens, but that's not what it felt like at all. I was smiling because I was having so much fun! I absolutely LOVED the pictures and how I looked in them!"
You've put in the work and it's time to celebrate!! Whether you are graduating from high school, college, tech school, homeschool, an apprenticeship, or clown school, your time, work, dedication, and achievements deserve to be celebrated! And really, Mom and Dad do love having a good photo to pull up on their phone to show as they brag on you. These sessions can be on campus, in the woods, hugging a cactus, in the machine shop, at home, or wherever we can dream up to show your personality, your hobbies and studies, and your passions!
