I’m sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. It’s all very exciting but it can also be somewhat overwhelming. You’re planning the day that you’ve been anticipating your whole life!  My goal as a grad and senior photographer is to make this one aspect of the planning process simple. Photography is more than just images, it’s a real part of your celebration! Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience. When my grads feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, that results in genuine, joyful images! Your senior year is an experience from beginning to end and your photography is a huge part of that experience...shouldn’t it be fun? and enjoyable? and natural? I think so! My goal is to not only capture memories for my clients, it’s to create an experience that you will never forget!

Welcome!

We have a deep love for New Mexico and the whole Southwest. We pick our restaurants by the salsa and how "real" the enchilada sauce is!

Cameron teaches Biology at the local college! It’s his dream job, and he’s a natural!

We live in Payson, AZ but we love to travel, especially in the Southwest!

I'll take a Root Beer,  Snow Cone, or White Hot Chocolate any day. I'm not a coffee or tea fan.

The Mower kids:
Darrow (the lawyer),
Ione (the warrior princess),
& Molly (the universally adored)

My very favorite flavor of pie is an old fashioned Buttermilk Pie! So simple and SOOO yummy!

I love prickly pear cactus! We have our own method for juicing the cactus fruit and use it anyway we can!

My favorite animal is a Flying Pig, but I do really love the non-flying pigs as well.

I am OBSESSED with the color orange! It's has been my favorite color since I was a little kid!

I LOVE my name and have never met anyone in person who shares the same name. My favorite day of school was the first day to see how people would pronounce it.
In case you're wondering, it's pronounced
mahr-KETT
luh-REE
MOW-er
(Mower rhymes with Power)

I started photography to get photos to paint from in my oil painting class and found I loved photography SO MUCH MORE! And then I discovered photographing people and it was love at first shutter-click!

Cameron and I have known each other since we were 12 and 14 years old, but didn't date until college!

3.14 favorite flavors of pie

1 major obsession with prickly pear cacti

not enough root beer consumed

What do I bring?!

planning your grad/senior session:

That is the number one biggest question I get asked for graduation and senior sessions!

Clothes: Please bring those. ;) I recommend at least one set with your graduation gown and cap, and one set without. Most graduates choose to have two outfits plus their graduation regalia. It makes for great variety!

School organizations or hobbies: An Instrument you play, a football, your soccer cleats, your stack of favorite books, anything that you want to showcase.

Friends: No one knows how to get a laugh out of you like your friends. You don't have to bring a friend, but if you're nervous, bringing a friend along to have around can help you loosen up and have a good time. If you both want senior portraits, ask me about a double session!

"It was such a blast working with marquette! She made it so easy and natural to take pictures! Naturally it would seem almost awkward just smiling constantly at a lens, but that's not what it felt like at all. I was smiling because I was having so much fun! I absolutely LOVED the pictures and how I looked in them!"

Senior & Graduate Sessions

You've put in the work and it's time to celebrate!! Whether you are graduating from high school, college, tech school, homeschool, an apprenticeship, or clown school, your time, work, dedication, and achievements deserve to be celebrated! And really, Mom and Dad do love having a good photo to pull up on their phone to show as they brag on you. These sessions can be on campus, in the woods, hugging a cactus, in the machine shop, at home, or wherever we can dream up to show your personality, your hobbies and studies, and your passions!

- Travel within 20 minutes of Payson, AZ included, but I'm up for traveling elsewhere if you have a location in mind. We can talk travel prices for various locations!
- 1 hour shooting time
- Outfit changes. I recommend just two outfits (in addition to the cap and gown) to maximize time, but more can be done)
- An average of 30+ Digital Negatives delivered for every hour of shooting

STARTING AT $300 FOR SESSIONS WITHIN 20 MINUTES OF PAYSON, AZ

The Process

Questions

frequently asked

will you hold my date until we can get the retainer in?

As much as I wish I could, it's not fair to other couples or myself if I hold dates without a paid retainer and contract.

Generally I don't, but if you can get a group of friends (4 or 5 total) interested, we can set up a mini grad headshot day!

I guarantee your photos back within 4 weeks, but always aim for the 2 week mark. If your senior session is scheduled in the middle of busy season, it may be closer to the 4 week mark.

Yes!! I offer prints, canvases, and photo books through your online gallery so you can order those at your convenience. I also offer high quality Legacy Albums that can be added on to any session at any time. I encourage ALL my clients to get prints and/or products ordered.

Do you offer mini sessions just for a headshot?

How soon after the session will I get the photos back?

I see there aren't any prints or albums included in the experiences. Are those an option?

I'd love to chat!
