Welcome!
We have a deep love for New Mexico and the whole Southwest. We pick our restaurants by the salsa and how "real" the enchilada sauce is!
Cameron teaches Biology at the local college! It’s his dream job, and he’s a natural!
We live in Payson, AZ but we love to travel, especially in the Southwest!

planning your family session:
I book family sessions as 45-60 minute increments. It sounds like a lot, I know. "My kids won't last that long!"
I book sessions for that long for a reason. I want this to be a fun and relaxed experience for all of you. As a mom of three kids I know that there's nothing like trying to get a kid to hurry and comply within a time restraint to make them slower and more cranky. We'll take our time to let the kids (and Dad!) loosen up, feel comfortable, and enjoy the experience.
I'll work to get the shot of everyone looking, but as we let kids be kids and get you interacting as a family we'll get some of those timeless interactions and moments full of emotion. The time will go by so must faster and be more enjoyable than you'd expect!

Single Family Session
I love a family photo with life! We'll get some with everyone looking at the camera, but I find the most loved photos of every family session are those shots capturing the "in between" moments and the connections between family members. We'll play, we'll talk, we'll move around to keep it fresh, and take breaks as needed for the little guys (and their dads).
- Travel within 1 hour of Thatcher, AZ included, but I'm up for traveling elsewhere if you have a location in mind. We can talk travel prices for various locations!
- 45-60 minutes of shooting time
- Outfit changes. I recommend just two outfits to maximize time, but more can be done.
- An average of 45+ Digital Negatives delivered for every hour of shooting

Extended Family Session
You've finally got the whole family to agree to getting together and to have family pictures! Congratulations, that is a feat in and of itself!
I charge a little more for extended family sessions as these end up being a series of mini-family sessions all in a string and takes more coordination to get all the groupings. Extended family sessions by nature do not involve as much play and motion as a single family session, but I strive to still keep it lighthearted, comfortable, and as painless as possible.
- Travel within 1 hour of Thatcher, AZ included, but I'm up for traveling elsewhere if you have a location in mind. We can talk travel prices for various locations!
- 45-60 minutes of shooting time
- Outfit changes. I recommend just two outfits to maximize time.
- An average of 25+ Digital Negatives delivered for every hour of shooting, but this can vary depending on how cooperative everyone is.

Want to customize the experience? No problem!
+ Additional Photographer: $150/hour
An additional photographer means I can provide more angles and drastically increase the number of portraits I am able to deliver.
+ Custom Retouching: $25/image
I do light & color adjustments on every image I deliver, as well as some basic acne blending (because sometimes that one session day zit just insists on making an appearance, we get that).
For extensive editing I charge on a per image basis.
+ Albums and Prints: Prices vary
Prints are available in every client's online gallery. Custom sizes can be ordered through me.

The Process

Marquette is just the best! She's done a couple shoots for us, and she does a great job of getting shots that really show our personalities. She is a master at posing/directing her subjects to get images that look and feel beautiful and REAL. She also did a great job of making it a fun experience overall! We loved her and the images she gave us that now hang on our walls!

will you hold our date until we can get the retainer in?
As much as I wish I could, it's not fair to other clients or myself if I hold dates without a paid retainer and contract.
Yes! We'll work together to figure out the look and style of your family and I can give you a list of my top suggestions.
I'm a Mom, I get that kids can randomly wake up and be pukey or totally boogery. And with the current pandemic we want to keep everyone safe and healthy. Let me know as soon as possible about health issues so we can work through a plan. In most cases we can get you rescheduled. Sessions can be transferred due to sickness one time before having to pay a new retainer fee.
Yes!! I offer prints, canvases, and photo books through your online gallery so you can order those at your convenience. I also offer high quality Legacy Albums that can be added on to any session at any time. I encourage ALL my clients to get prints and/or products ordered. There is power in printed images that you can see daily. When you look at a photo you remember how you felt when it was taken. Having that extra boost and power in your home, to remember the good moments, is invaluable!
